The WBD team just got back from the Carmel Art & Film Festival in breathtaking Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. With crisp, sunny weather, waves crashing on silky sand beaches under smooth golden-brown cliffs and lush green lawns punctuated by crooked Cypress trees it was a cruel place indeed to lure filmmakers who rarely leave their edit caves and to then ask them to stay indoors and watch more films! Yet we powered through, enjoying the stunning landscapes, perfect weekend weather, and of course the incredible selection of films screening at the festival. We’re honored to be in such good company – check out the stellar lineup!:

It looks like our free screening as part of the Andaz Salon Series tonight is “sold out”…well as far as a free screening can be.
But fear not, if you’re in NYC and you want a chance to see the film you’re in luck:
We’re also screening as part of the Astoria/LIC Film Festival, this Saturday at 12:30PM. Tickets are $10, and available here.

WBD Hits New York and California with a Double Coast Double Feature on October 15th!
October 15th is a big day for World’s Best Dad! At 12:30 EST we have a screening at the Astoria/LIC Film Festival with a Q&A with Actors Charlie Ochs, Clifton James and Dean Gross. Then we have a second screening at 2:00 PST in Carmel, CA, as part of the Carmel Art & Film Festival followed by a Q&A with Director Josh Gross, Actor/Writer Matt Gross and Producer Jen Cipperly!
WBD at the Carmel Art & Film Festival
We received more great news early this AM, that WBD has been accepted into the Carmel Art and Film Festival in Carmel California. It’s a beautiful town, and a great place for the WBD crew to kick back for a week. The festival is from October 12-16th, we don’t have a screening time yet…but it will be posted here once we get a chance.
Maybe we can finally talk Clint Eastwood into starring in the sequel where Miles escapes from his retirement community for one last adventure with his little brother!
WBD at the Astoria/LIC International Film Festival!
Hey WBD fans…
We just got great news that WBD will be playing in the LIC/Astoria Int’l Film Festival, which runs Oct 14-16th. So for anyone who had to miss our NYC premiere due to the torrential downpour, now’s your chance to see the film on the big screen!
We’re still waiting to hear which night our film will show, so check back for more information.

The world premiere of Worlds Best Dad is finally upon us!
Join the WBD crew tomorrow night at Rooftop Films at the top of the Old American Can Factory! There will be a band playing shortly after the doors open, followed by our film, and an afterparty where the free booze will flow like wine!
The first 200 people in the door will also receive a World’s Best Dad T-shirt, just like the ones in the film.
So c’mon out, if you have as much fun watching World’s Best Dad as we had making it…you will be in for a good night!
